CUET Application Form: The Admit Card for CUET 2024 is expected to release 1 week prior to the exam on the official website of CUET (Though any official notification is still awaited). The tentative last date for filling the application will be the third week of March 2024. CUET admit card is expected to release a week before the exam. Interested students are advised to visit the official website of NTA (CUET) time to time for all the latest events and updates.
Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a centralized test for admission to various undergraduate courses in universities (more than 100) across the country. It will ensure admission in major universities including Delhi University, BHU, JNU etc. Conducted by NTA, CUET 2024 will be an online Computer-Based-Test (CBT). Other relevant exam details will be available once the official notification is released.
CUET 2024 Admit Card
CUET Admit Card will be made available on the official website of NTA about one week before the exam. All the candidates will be informed through SMS and email when the CUET Admit Card is available for download.
CUET admit card or hall ticket contains important details like CUET exam date and time, exam venue, exam center and various other credentials related to the exam. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall and appear in the examination without valid CUET admit card.
CUET 2024 Results / Selection Process
The selection process for CUET starts after the exam is over and the CUET result is declared.
Candidates need to apply online for CUET 2024 after the commencement of CUET application process.
Download CUET Admit Card and check any discrepancy. If any error is found then immediately inform the authorities.
Appear for the exam on the CUET exam date notified in the admit card.
Validate your answers once the answer key is released by NTA after the exam is conducted.
Use the grievance redressal mechanism for any problem you find in the answer key.
After the declaration of the result, get ready along with your CUET scorecard for the counseling process (conducted by the respective universities) for admission in the participating universities.
Why CUET 2024?
With the ever-increasing cut-offs, the best of central universities (like Delhi University) were getting out of reach for many aspiring students. Moreover, since there was no uniformity with regard to syllabus and difficulty level in various board exams, some board students got unfair advantage.
Hence, CUET has been introduced with an aim to give an equal and equal opportunity to all the students across the country, irrespective of the board they pass, in the top and reputed universities of the country. CUET will be conducted by NTA. The exam will provide a single-window opportunity for the candidates for admission to various UG courses in the participating universities across the country.
Now, it is necessary for all the candidates to know the CUET Exam Pattern so that they can start preparing early and develop an effective exam strategy to prepare for their exam and be successful in CUET 2024. CUET Entrance Test will be conducted online in the form of CBT (Computer Based Test). ) and in two shifts (morning and afternoon).
The duration of the exam will be 3 hours 15 minutes (for morning shift) or 3 hours 45 minutes (for afternoon shift) depending on the slot you choose. Students are expected to write at least one paper in both the shifts. One of the most important things to help you prepare for the CUET exam is to understand the CUET 2024 exam pattern thoroughly.

CUET 2024: Marking Scheme
In CUET exam, for every correct answer, you will be awarded 5 marks, and for every wrong answer, there will be negative marking of 1 mark. However, there will be no negative marks for unattempted questions.
As there is also negative marking for wrong answers in CUET. Hence, it is imperative that the candidates be careful about the risks involved and avoid guessing too much.
